Charles Hammett is the Founder and CEO of Hammett Technologies, a leading provider of cybersecurity and IT support services for small and midsized businesses. With more than twenty years of experience in information technology, Charles has built a trusted reputation for delivering secure, dependable, and cost‑effective IT solutions that help companies protect their data and achieve their goals.

Before founding Hammett Technologies, Charles worked with federal agencies including the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). His work with these organizations required strict compliance with federal IT security standards, experience that continues to guide every project his company undertakes. He also holds several professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), MCSA, and CCEA.

Charles started Hammett Technologies in 2002 — originally called MDPCHelp.com — while he was still working full‑time in government contracting. The idea grew from a simple favor: helping a local business owner troubleshoot IT issues that were hurting productivity. That experience revealed something important — many small businesses lacked reliable, honest, and affordable IT support. Charles decided to change that by creating a company that treated technology as a partnership, not a profit center.
